LAST ONE

Over the semester I was exposed to new forms of writing, pieces that really caught my attention and drew me in. This surprised me because most of the time in my writing classes I have felt the material was dull and not intriguing. This class showed me the wide variety of readings that I could like find and really enjoy. I praise my professor for bringing these pieces to my eyes. I would have not have found them otherwise! I also learned how to use my own voice in my writing, and to not be afraid to use it. Usually in essays and formal papers I refrain from saying things I actually want to say about the topic. However in creative writing I can see how voice is a strength, and this form of writing encourages that type of originality. I still would like to learn how I can better use my voice in my writing, since this is the first time in any class I have put it to use.
