    Dear Danielle...I like that you're trying the Ken Burns style of moving across pictures, but keep practicing this...You can make it look more professional if you're making choices about what to highlight and focus in on. I like that you're interjecting the interviews, but the angle is a little weird...I'm wondering why I'm looking up at the two of you. Lastly, yes, use the text to ask questions, but you must also be reflective on your experience. Consider adding a little intro music so we can get into the video in a more fluid way.

“Faith c’mon dance with me, let me see how your feet work! C’mon get up, get up now!” Grandpa took my hand in his and swiveled me around and out of my seat. “Well dont you look beautiful Faith, oh Faith come with me!” My heels clacked and clinked as I was pulled onto the marble. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

I chose the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to analyze certain visual elements including color, lighting, sound, the positioning of the camera and the different types of frames used to convey the story. The film takes place in the 8th century when China was ruled by the Qing dynasty. Through their specific choice of music and consist use of musci through the film, the listener is brought back in time to ancient chinese culture. You can hear the sound dominated by sting instruments which are popular in chinese music. Some ancient instruments used were called the erhu, pipa, and guzheng. When considering the coloring of the film there exists an ominous mist that seems to lay itself in the background of most of the scenes, it brings an eerie mystical element to the story as well as makes the settings seem old and dusty.
