She always liked the boys she could not have. The ones that stuck their tongue out at her, the ones who would pick on her and call her slow when they would play tag. One day in 3rd grade she was sitting at lunch in the cafeteria and a boy named Ian swiveled to face Danielle and said, "hey foxy mama." Her face went pink, she cracked a smile, "Hi Ian" she replied. Not once did Danielle ever have an encounter like that one with a boy. It was so surprising, so she told her two best friends Courtney and Kira. In 6th grade, all Danielle could think about was getting on the bus at the end of the day so she could listen to her iPod. She would close her eyes and imagine, Evan, the boy she was obsessed with, sing Justin Bieber to her. She was infatuated by this boy, maybe it was because Evan really did look like Justin Bieber and the hype was all about him that year. Hmmmm... sitting here I think about what the heck I am supposed to say to all of you, so you can really get a taste of who I am. I could easily say I am a sophomore at Rutgers University planning one day to become an equine vet, but this to me does not help you guys really know me. I could also easily say that I am a new member of the Phi Sigma Sigma family and am an athlete on the Rutgers Equestrian Team, but again do these define me? I have been given this assignment to introduce myself, but I never introduce myself the same way every time or say one specific thing. I think how you introduce yourself really depends on the circumstances. How your feeling that day, whether your meeting a girl or a boy, the setting of where you meet that person. I guess Im just blabbing on about how I can not seem to figure out how to tell you who I am.
